Overview
Competency based performance measurement has become increasingly important in organizations across the evolving business sectors around the world. Competencies are the inventory of knowledge, skill and attitude of employees within an organization. The inventory of competencies should be designed in the organization structure to allow alignment of personnel competency inventory with competency required to achieve corporate objectives. Misalignment of personnel competencies from the required competencies to operate the business in the business environment is not uncommon.
